DeepX Prepares for Domestic IPO and Potential US Listing
South Korean startup DeepX is preparing for a domestic initial public offering as its funding round ends. The firm is also considering a potential US listing.
The artificial intelligence semiconductor startup DeepX has announced its intention to pursue an initial public offering in South Korea, signaling a major step for the region's hardware sector. Following a domestic debut, the company remains open to a potential secondary listing in the United States.
DeepX specializes in the development of on-device AI chips, which are designed to process complex algorithms directly on hardware rather than relying on cloud-based servers. This technology has attracted significant interest from industrial giants, with the startup currently collaborating with HYUNDAI MOTOR CO and the Chinese technology firm BAIDU INC-CLASS A.
