South Korea’s KOSPI index rose 5% to a record 8,450.26 on Wednesday as SK HYNIX INC reached a $1.08 trillion market capitalization. The chipmaker joins SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO LTD and MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC in the $1 trillion valuation club.
