Finance ministers from the six largest economies in the European Union agreed on Friday to support centralized capital markets supervision. The E6 group represents 70% of the bloc's population, exceeding the 65% threshold required for a qualified majority vote. Centralized oversight aims to redirect trillions in idle savings into productive investments to compete with the United States and China.
