Singapore economy beats estimates with 6.9 percent growth in final quarter of 2025

Singapore reported stronger than expected growth of 6.9 percent for the fourth quarter of 2025. The government also raised its 2026 economic outlook today.

Singapore SGSG reported a stronger-than-expected economic performance for the final quarter of 2025, with the economy growing by 6.9 percent year-on-year. This figure, released today, significantly exceeded the official advance estimate of 5.7 percent. On a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter basis, the gross domestic product expanded by 2.1 percent, also surpassing the previously projected advance estimate of 1.9 percent.
