Singapore core inflation hits 1.4 percent in February

Singapore's core inflation rose to 1.4 percent in February, slightly exceeding economist forecasts. Headline inflation reached 1.2 percent in the same period.

Official data released on Monday shows that Singapore recorded a core inflation rate of 1.4% in February compared to the previous year. This key consumer price gauge, which excludes the costs of private road transport and accommodation, was slightly higher than the 1.3% median forecast expected by economists in a Reuters poll.
