Thousands of Serbian farmers
RS have launched a series of tractor blockades across the country, disrupting major transit routes to demand higher subsidies, temporary restrictions or tariffs on specific agricultural imports, and faster payments for their products. The ongoing demonstrations, which began in the southwest of the country nearly two weeks before this report, have now expanded to 42 targeted sites nationwide.
