Schindler expects lower financial impact from United States tariffs

Swiss lift maker Schindler expects a smaller financial hit from US tariffs than previously feared. The firm will use pricing and efficiency to offset costs.

Schindler has lowered its projected annual gross impact from tariffs in the United States USUS to 18 million Swiss francs, a significant reduction from the 33 million franc estimate previously issued. The company announced the update today, February 11, 2026, noting that the revision materially changes its reported near-term cost exposure and limits the immediate hit to its earnings.
