A report from the transport and environment campaign group T&E suggests that scaling up production within Europe could drastically narrow the price difference between locally manufactured batteries and those imported from China. Currently, the cost gap stands at approximately 90%, but the group argues that a Made in Europe strategy could reduce this disparity to around 30%.
