Samsung Moves US Headquarters from New Jersey to Texas
Samsung Electronics America is moving its headquarters from Englewood Cliffs to its existing campus in Plano as part of a strategic business transformation. The transition follows the recent opening of its New Jersey facility and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Samsung Electronics will move its United States headquarters from New Jersey to Texas by the end of 2026. The shift occurs just nine months after the electronics giant opened its 312,000-square-foot facility in Englewood Cliffs. This relocation consolidates corporate operations near the company's existing semiconductor and mobile hubs in Austin and Plano.
### Strategic Consolidation in the Texas Tech Corridor Samsung spokesperson Chris Langlois confirmed the transition on Tuesday afternoon, citing a business transformation aimed at long-term growth. The move impacts 1,200 employees currently based at the Englewood Cliffs site, which features a fitness center and a grocery store. Langlois stated the company would provide support to affected staff during the multi-year transition.
