MMK to cut management personnel and pause new investment

Russian steelmaker MMK will cut 10% of management staff and pause investment. The firm is operating at 60% capacity due to weak demand and high interest rates.

One of the largest steel producers in Russia, MMK, has announced plans to reduce its management staff by 10% and suspend most new investment projects. The company is currently operating at only 60% of its total capacity as domestic demand continues to falter across key sectors.
