Renishaw names John Shipsey as CFO and David Grant as chair

Alongside this executive change, the company confirmed that David Grant has been appointed as the permanent chairman of the board. Shipsey, a veteran in the industrial sector, previously served as the finance chief for the technology company Dyson and the engineering firm SMITHS GROUP PLC. Additionally, he held various senior finance and strategy roles at the multinational beverage firm Diageo. Shipsey is set to officially take up his new role at Renishaw on April 13, marking a significant update to the company's senior leadership structure.
