Recordati projects core profit growth for 2026 as rare disease treatments drive momentum
Italian drugmaker Recordati expects core profit to reach about one billion euros by 2026. This growth is driven by a strategic focus on rare disease treatments.
Recordati announced its 2026 financial guidance today, forecasting a core profit (EBITDA) in the range of €995 million to €1.03 billion. This announcement was made immediately after the company reported its 2025 results, which showed significant growth driven by the rare diseases segment. The company, which operates out of Italy
IT, noted that its strategic pivot toward specialized treatments is driving growth and helping to insulate the business from European pharmaceutical market pricing pressures and adverse currency movements.
The 2025 results demonstrated strong momentum for the group, with full-year EBITDA rising 14.5 percent to €991.1 million. Total revenue for the year grew by 11.8 percent to reach €2.62 billion, while the rare diseases segment specifically climbed by 29.7 percent. These figures indicate that the company’s focus on niche medical sectors is providing a buffer against broader economic headwinds and pricing challenges in the European pharmaceutical market.
