Quantum Space to Go Public in 1.2 Billion Dollar SPAC Deal
Space infrastructure developer Quantum Space plans to go public through a merger with Inflection Point Acquisition. The transaction includes a 300 million dollar private investment to accelerate the Ranger spacecraft platform. Led by former NASA head Jim Bridenstine, the deal is expected to close in late 2026.
Quantum Space will merge with Inflection Point Acquisition in a $1.2 billion deal to go public on the Nasdaq. The transaction arrives as investor interest in the space sector intensifies ahead of a projected $1.75 trillion SpaceX IPO. Led by former NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, the deal provides capital for Quantum Space to scale spacecraft manufacturing for national security and commercial missions.
### Funding the Ranger Platform The merger includes a $300 million private investment in public equity (PIPE) led by Inflection Point Asset Management. Quantum Space will use these proceeds to accelerate the development of its flagship Ranger spacecraft platform and expand manufacturing facilities to meet rising demand.
