Global energy markets saw a significant uptick on Tuesday as oil prices climbed nearly 2%, extending a rally driven by the persistent geopolitical deadlock between the United States and Iran. The ongoing conflict has resulted in the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime artery that typically facilitates approximately 20% of the world's oil and gas consumption.

Brent Crude Oil futures for June delivery rose by $2.32, or 2.1%, reaching $110.55 a barrel. This marks the seventh consecutive day of gains for the benchmark. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate crude for June delivery increased by $1.80, or 1.9%, to settle at $98.17 a barrel. The price surge follows the collapse of face-to-face negotiations last week, with the United Arab Emirates and other regional observers watching closely as diplomatic efforts stall.
