Novo Nordisk A/S-B plans to reduce drug launch timelines by up to two-thirds using artificial intelligence to automate regulatory and safety workflows. The Danish drugmaker is shifting critical data analysis and commercial planning to its hub in India to regain momentum in the obesity market. This acceleration targets a regulatory filing process that historically required 18 months to complete.

### AI Integration Targets Regulatory Bottlenecks Novo Nordisk is deploying AI to draft regulatory documents and analyze safety data for both clinical trials and marketed products. John Dawber, managing director for global business services, said during a summit on Friday that AI tools are already shortening the window between the final patient visit and the first filing by several months.
