Nordic and Baltic ministers reject Russian airspace claims
Nordic and Baltic ministers rejected Russian claims of airspace violations on Friday. They condemned threats of force and linked drone incidents to the war.
Nordic and Baltic foreign ministers issued a joint statement Friday rejecting Russia and Belarus claims regarding airspace violations in the region. Russia's UN ambassador alleged on Tuesday that Ukraine planned drone launches from Latvia and other Baltic states. The ministers said NATO membership would not shield these countries from Russian retaliation threats.
