洞察:
NIO Inc. announced on February 5, 2026, that it expects to report its first-ever adjusted operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company, which operates in China CNCN, provided guidance of 700 million to 1.2 billion yuan for the period, marking a significant reversal from the adjusted operating loss of 5.54 billion yuan reported in the fourth quarter of the previous year. Following the announcement, shares of NIO Inc. listed in the United States USUS rose by approximately 9% in premarket trading.
Management attributed the expected turnaround to higher vehicle sales and improved cost controls. A significant contributor to the sales volume was the mid-year start of deliveries for the Firefly (NIO Inc. 's subcompact EV model), a lower-cost addition to the company's fleet. The launch of the Firefly (NIO Inc. 's subcompact EV model) was designed to complement the sales of NIO Inc. 's premium EV models and reach a broader consumer base.
