Nexi shares fall as CEO Paolo Bertoluzzo steps down

Nexi shares fell on Thursday after the group announced that CFO Bernardo Mingrone will replace CEO Paolo Bertoluzzo. The move follows a recent share slump.

Shares in the payments giant based in Italy experienced a decline on Thursday, underperforming the broader Milan market after the company announced that its longtime chief executive officer would step down. Nexi confirmed late Wednesday that Finance Chief Bernardo Mingrone would replace Paolo Bertoluzzo, who has led the organization for a decade and oversaw its 2019 listing.
