Zimmer Biomet lifts 2026 outlook and announces CFO exit

ZIMMER BIOMET HOLDINGS INC raised its 2026 adjusted profit forecast to $8.40–$8.55 per share following a first-quarter earnings beat. The medical device maker surpassed analyst estimates of $1.86 per share, reporting adjusted earnings of $2.09. Investors are weighing the earnings growth against the departure of CFO Suketu Upadhyay and a sales force reorganization.
Revenue rose to $2.087 billion, exceeding the $2.07 billion expected by analysts. The sports injury and fractures segment led growth with a 19.5% increase to $562.2 million. Hips business revenue rose 5.7% to $524.1 million, while the knee segment grew 4.5% to $828.6 million.
