V. Manuel Perez leads the Riverside County supervisor race with 60.3% of the vote. The incumbent holds a lead of roughly 11,000 votes over challenger Steve Sanchez following initial results. A victory above the 50% threshold would secure the seat immediately, bypassing a November general election.
