Lazard to Buy Campbell Lutyens for 575 Million Dollars
The investment bank will form a new global business division called Lazard CL to offer fundraising and secondary advisory services. The deal closes by 2027.
LAZARD INC will acquire private equity advisory firm Campbell Lutyens for $575 million to launch a new private capital division. The deal creates Lazard CL, the investment bank's third global business line alongside asset management and financial advisory. This expansion targets higher-margin private market services to drive growth toward the firm's Lazard 2030 strategic goals.

The new unit integrates fundraising and secondary advisory services across infrastructure, private credit, and real estate. Lazard CL combines the proprietary datasets of both firms to service the full capital life cycle.
