The offer is priced at 3.50 euros per share, valuing the company at 1.18 billion euros and representing a 21.3 percent premium over the closing price recorded on December 11.
The investment group currently maintains its interest in the shipbuilder through its KKCG Maritime subsidiary. By targeting a stake just below the 30 percent threshold, the company specifically aims to avoid triggering mandatory full takeover requirements mandated by regulations in IT ITIT. Prior to this announcement, shares of Ferretti S.p.A.closed at 3.642 euros on the Milan exchange on Friday. KKCGhas clarified that the offer is not intended to lead to a de-listing of the firm, which is a dual-listed company.
