Julius Baer begins search for new chief financial officer
Julius Baer is reportedly seeking a new chief financial officer to replace Evie Kostakis. The move follows a management overhaul after recent lending losses.
The private bank Julius Baer is reportedly initiating a search for a new Chief Financial Officer, according to sources familiar with the discussions. This move would represent a significant step in the ongoing leadership transition in Switzerland following a period of financial volatility.

The current CFO, Evie Kostakis, has held the position since 2022. She is the most senior member of the executive team to remain in place through a series of management changes that began after the bank disclosed substantial losses and writedowns linked to risky lending practices.
At this time, Julius Baer has not responded to inquiries regarding the potential replacement. Evie Kostakis also did not provide an immediate comment on the reports of the executive search.
