Iran's Fars News reported two missiles hit a United States warship in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday morning. The vessel reportedly ignored Iranian warnings near Jask before the strike, marking a sharp escalation in Persian Gulf maritime tensions. Investors face immediate supply-chain risks as the Strait handles 21 million barrels of oil daily.
