This strategic focus remains steadfast despite travel disruptions resulting from the war in Iran, as the company reported a 15% increase in annual profit for 2025. Adjusted operating profit rose to 1.14 billion pounds ($1.53 billion), up from 995 million pounds the previous year. In response to this strong financial performance, the group raised its share buyback program to 250 million pounds from its earlier 200 million pound commitment.

The IMEA region remains a vital market, contributing roughly one-quarter of the company's total revenue. Informa stated that 40% of the region's revenue for 2026 is already secured, as brands are either scheduled to run or holding confirmed options for later in the year. This growth is underpinned by the strategy of fast-growing economies, including India and the United Arab Emirates, to utilize large-scale conferences and exhibitions as tools for industrial development and foreign investment attraction.
