The Indian rupee surrendered its early gains on Friday as a surge in dollar demand from importers offset the momentum from a recent three-week high. While the currency initially reached a one-month peak of 92.4150 against the U.S. dollar, it subsequently weakened to 92.73 by mid-morning, representing a 0.1% decline from its previous close.
