India eases rice export rules for some European nations

The government of India has announced a temporary relaxation of export conditions for both basmati and non-basmati rice destined for several European nations. According to a government notification released on Friday, the requirement for a mandatory certificate of inspection from the national export inspection agency has been suspended for a six-month period for specific destinations.
