The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is working to solidify its financial defenses by completing the 16th quota review, a move intended to provide the institution with significant "scary" firepower to address global economic crises. Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva emphasized on Thursday the importance of finalizing the review, which was initially approved in 2023.
