Hyundai to invest 6.3 billion dollars in AI and robotics
Hyundai Motor Group and the South Korean government signed a deal to invest 9 trillion won in an AI data center and robot factory in the western coastal region.
Hyundai Motor Company and the government of South Korea have finalized a deal to invest approximately 9 trillion won ($6.26 billion) into the nation's technological infrastructure. According to the land ministry, the capital will be directed toward the construction of an artificial intelligence data center and a specialized robot manufacturing factory. These facilities are planned for development in the country's western coastal region, marking a significant push for industrial modernization. The project encompasses several other developments intended to strengthen the local tech ecosystem and foster regional economic growth.
