HSBC HOLDINGS PLC has appointed a senior executive from JPMORGAN CHASE & CO to lead its global precious metals sales, according to sources familiar with the matter. James Willis, who spent two decades at JPMorgan, is expected to join the bank in mid-2026. This recruitment follows the recent addition of Mark Augustynak, who joined from ICBC Standard Bank earlier this month to head the global metals trading division at HSBC.
