HPE Revenue Forecast Beats Estimates Amid AI Server Boom
HPE expects quarterly revenue up to $10 billion, beating estimates. Growth is driven by AI server demand as tech firms ramp up infrastructure spending.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company has issued a second-quarter revenue forecast that exceeds Wall Street expectations, citing significant demand for its artificial intelligence-powered servers. These specialized systems are equipped with high-performance chips from NVIDIA Corporation. The company expects its revenue for the upcoming quarter to range between $9.6 billion and $10.0 billion, a projection that sits above the $9.58 billion average estimate compiled by analysts.
The optimistic outlook comes as major technology firms, including Alphabet Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Amazon.com, Inc., and Meta Platforms, Inc., are projected to spend at least $630 billion on AI infrastructure this year. This massive investment cycle is expected to drive sustained demand for server and data center equipment from key industry vendors such as Dell Technologies Inc., HPE, and Super Micro Computer, Inc..

While the forecast remains strong, HPE reported its first-quarter results showing an 18% increase in total revenue to $9.30 billion. This result was slightly lower than the $9.33 billion analysts had anticipated for the period.
