Groww Parent Q4 Profit Doubles to 6.86 Billion Rupees
Billionbrains Garage Ventures reported a consolidated net profit of 6.86 billion rupees for the quarter ended March 31. Higher order volumes drove the growth.
The leading discount brokerage platform in India has reported a significant surge in its financial performance for the final quarter of the fiscal year. BILLIONBRAINS GARAGE VENTURE, the parent company of the popular investment platform Groww, announced that its consolidated net profit more than doubled during the three-month period ending March 31.
The firm, which enjoys backing from Tiger Global, saw its consolidated net profit climb to 6.86 billion rupees ($73.73 million). This represents a substantial increase from the 3.1 billion rupees recorded during the same quarter in the previous year. The growth was primarily driven by a significant rise in order volumes across the platform.
As the retail investment landscape continues to evolve, the brokerage has leveraged increased market participation to bolster its bottom line. The financial results highlight the company's ability to scale operations effectively amid a growing user base. The figures are based on an exchange rate of approximately 93.0400 Indian rupees per U.S. dollar.
