Global financial markets experienced a shift on Tuesday as the initial relief following a decision by the United States to delay military action against Iran began to dissipate. While global stocks saw a decline, energy prices moved upward amid persistent uncertainty regarding the conflict in the Middle East and its impact on vital shipping routes. U.S. Treasury yields pushed higher and the dollar regained ground, retracing a rally that had swept markets overnight after political leaders cited productive talks with Tehran.

Following a significant drop on Monday, Brent Crude Oil prices climbed back toward the $100 mark, trading around $98 per barrel. Similarly, W&T Offshore, Inc. crude rose to $90.7 per barrel. The market remains on edge as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, obstructing approximately one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas shipments. IG market analyst Tony Sycamore noted that the underlying situation remains incredibly volatile.
