The Global Energy Alliance seeks $100 million to digitise India's power grids. This project helps the nation meet 2030 climate goals and cut carbon emissions.

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) announced today, February 18, 2026, at Mumbai Climate Week that it is seeking to raise approximately $100 million by 2028 to support the non-fossil energy goals of India ININ through the digitisation of India's electricity grids. This initiative is intended to automate networks, improve reliability, and enable greater integration of renewable energy, while also helping to reduce costs and emissions.
