Germany to spend over 4 percent of GDP on defence
Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced that German defence spending will exceed 4 percent of GDP this year with a target of 5 percent. The government also plans to intensify cooperation with Ukraine to accelerate military production ahead of the NATO meeting in Sweden.
