Germany industrial orders rose 5.0% in March, significantly beating analyst expectations of a 1.0% increase. This front-loading suggests manufacturers are securing supplies to hedge against price spikes and bottlenecks caused by the conflict in Iran.
### Manufacturers Front-Load Orders to Hedge Risks The German statistics office reported on Thursday that new orders accelerated from an upwardly revised 1.4% rise in the previous month.
