Galderma Reports 25.5 Percent Rise in Quarterly Sales
The Swiss skincare group saw revenue reach 1.47 billion dollars as U.S. demand surged. Management expects to mitigate the impact of tariffs throughout 2026.
GALDERMA GROUP AG reported a significant surge in first-quarter performance, with constant-currency sales climbing 25.5% to reach $1.47 billion. The Zug-based company, headquartered in Switzerland, attributed this growth largely to an exceptional performance in the United States, where revenue jumped 41.5% year-on-year during the January–March period.
Following the announcement, the company's shares rose by more than 6% in morning trading. The robust start to the year has allowed management to express increased confidence in navigating current market volatility and potential future trade hurdles.

Chief Executive Flemming Ornskov highlighted the strength of specific product lines, noting that the injectable dermatitis treatment Nemluvio performed very well. He also pointed to high demand for dermatological skincare products across major e-commerce platforms like Amazon. Ornskov confirmed that Galderma is successfully capturing market share in the American market.
Regarding potential economic headwinds, the group addressed the prospect of U.S. tariffs in 2026. Management stated that the impact is expected to remain manageable and will not materially alter the long-term financial outlook. Ornskov also noted that the company has mitigated supply chain risks despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
\"We haven't really seen an impact on our supply costs at this stage, and we have a very diverse supply chain.\"
Galderma, which went public on the Swiss stock exchange just over two years ago, continues to monitor regulatory developments, including potential refunds related to tariff rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court, while maintaining its positive trajectory for the remainder of the fiscal year.
