Economic activity in France experienced its sharpest decline in 14 months this April, as a deepening slump in the services sector overshadowed gains in manufacturing. According to the latest preliminary survey data from S&P Global Inc, the Flash France Composite Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) dropped to 47.6 points from 48.8 in March, missing the 48.6 mark anticipated by analysts.
