French consumer price growth slows to 0.4 percent in January

FR rose 0.4 percent year-on-year in January. The statistics agency noted that the EU-harmonised inflation measure slowed to 0.4 percent in January, down from the 0.7 percent recorded in December. This data marks a measurable slowdown in inflation for the country, which is the second-largest economy in the European Union.
