This landmark deal makes Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A.the first bank in Greece GRGRto sign such an agreement with the lending arm of the European Union EUEU. Through this partnership, Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A.will be able to provide a total of 200 million euros to a few hundred small and medium size Greekcompanies active in the cybersecurity and defence sectors.
