The European Central Bank (ECB) recorded a 3.2% increase in business lending across the euro zone during March. This growth rose from 3.0% in February despite energy costs linked to the conflict in Iran. Bank credit to businesses accelerated even as geopolitical tensions pressured the broader economy.
