Ecuador ECEC's shrimp exports rose 20% year-on-year in 2025 to reach a record $8.4 billion, surpassing oil as the country's top export. This significant change in the national export composition occurred alongside a 19% drop in oil exports during the same period, even as non-oil exports continued to grow.
