The European Central Bank maintained its key interest rate at 2% on Thursday, while warning that the conflict involving Iran is clouding the outlook for growth and inflation within the euro zone. During a news conference following the policy meeting, President Christine Lagarde noted that while economic activity has been underpinned primarily by the services sector, geopolitical tensions are creating significant headwinds.
