The European Central Bank maintained its key interest rate at 2% on Thursday, as officials warned that the conflict involving Iran is creating significant uncertainty for the euro zone's economic growth and inflation outlook. President Christine Lagarde noted that while the bank is well-positioned to respond to shocks, the geopolitical situation remains a primary concern for the Governing Council.
