Trump threatens primary challenge against Lauren Boebert

Donald Trump threatened to primary Representative Lauren Boebert after she campaigned for a political rival. The move marks a sudden rift between Trump and one of his most loyal congressional allies. This internal friction tests Trump's influence over the Republican Party.

Trump issued the threat evening on Saturday via Truth Social. He targeted Boebert for supporting Representative Thomas Massie, whom Trump labeled the "Worst Republican Congressman" in history. Trump wrote that anyone "that dumb" deserves a primary challenge.
