The Democratic Republic of the Congo has officially launched its debut Eurobond sale, marking the nation's first foray into international capital markets. According to financial market sources, the offering includes bonds with both five-year and 10-year maturities.
This move comes as the Central African nation capitalizes on a significant boom in the global metals market and strengthened diplomatic and economic ties with the United States. The issuance follows the publication of a base offering circular on Wednesday, which outlined the framework for the sale.
