DBS Group will open 18 new wealth centers across Asia by the end of 2027 and upgrade 36 existing locations. The expansion marks the largest physical growth of the bank's wealth franchise, targeting a $4.7 trillion regional affluent market. It signals a pivot toward high-margin advisory services as wealth assets under management reached S$492 billion in early 2026.
The expansion covers Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, and Taiwan. In Singapore, the bank will increase its Treasures wealth center footprint by 50%. Surveys in Hong Kong and Singapore show 45% of clients prefer face-to-face meetings with advisers despite digital tool availability.
