CITIC Securities Company Limited, the largest brokerage in China, reported a 38.58% year-on-year profit increase for 2025, driven by a recovery in capital markets activity and booming brokerage revenues.
According to a stock exchange filing, net profit for the year reached 30.076 billion yuan ($4.35 billion). While representing significant growth, the result was slightly below the median estimate of 34.063 billion yuan projected by LSEG data. Fees and commission revenue from the brokerage business rose 37.7% to 14.753 billion yuan as trading activity surged.
