China's Sinograin Sells 77.5% of Soybean Inventory as U.S. Imports Resume Following Trade Truce

China's state grain storage firm Sinograin sold 397,000 metric tons of soybeans at auction, making room for incoming U.S. shipments after trade tensions eased, despite record South American supplies and weak domestic demand.

China CNCN's state-owned grain storage company Sinograin successfully sold approximately 397,000 metric tons of imported soybeans—representing 77.5% of the total volume offered—at auction on Thursday, according to two traders. The sale price of 3,935.3 yuan ($557.38) per metric ton includes delivery scheduled from late December through March, clearing inventory space for anticipated shipments from the United States USUS amid abundant local supplies.
