Canada explores involvement in proposed global defense financing bank

Canada is investigating a potential role in the proposed Defence, Security and Resilience Bank. The initiative aims to raise billions for defense projects.

Finance Minister francois philippe champagne announced on the social media platform X that Canada CACA will work with international partners to see what role it can play in setting up the proposed Defence, Security and Resilience Bank. The announcement followed a series of talks hosted by Canada CACA that involved representatives from more than 10 nations to discuss the future of multilateral defense financing.
